Windows Server 2012 Release Candidate Datacenter Available for Download

On the heels of the latest news and download for the Windows 8 Release Preview ISO, Microsoft has released the next version of their server operating system now officially dubbed Windows Server 2012. ย Microsoft is touting this server OS to be their most robust platform with cloud technology baked into the package. ย Microsoft is gearing everything to be housed in the cloud both with Server 2012 and Windows 8 or at least cloud focused. ย They are saying also that this version of their server OS will help to make this environment more scalable and flexible for developers and enterprise admins.

Microsoft has seemingly taken everything to the next level both with their server operating system as well as their next generation client operating system with Windows 8. ย It will be interesting to see how well the major departures both in the server platform and the client OS will be adopted by both enterprise admins as well as consumers.
